The AICS Conference has become Ireland's primary forum for researchers with interests in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. The conference has taken place almost annually since 1988 and provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and the presentation of research conducted both in Ireland and worldwide.

The 22nd Irish Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science will be organized and hosted by the Intelligent Systems Research Centre at the Magee Campus in the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland, from 31st August to 2nd September 2011.

Best paper award

After an intense deliberation by the chairs of the sessions due to the high quality of the papers presented at the conference, the best paper award (comprising an iPad2 kindly sponsored by Metralab) was granted to PhD student Mr Donal Mc Gowan of University College Dublin, for his outstanding performance presenting the paper "Churn Prediction in Mobile Telecommunications". Our most sincere congratulations!
